It was a very colorful sunset and, although light was amazing, it kept changing very fast. I found myself looking around quickly between shots to see where the explosion of colors was happening and had to compose my shots rather quickly by my standards. Luckily I am happy with some exposures and this is one of them.

I must admit it, I’ve cheated on that one !!
I couldn’t get the hot water smoke to be dense enought for it to show in the picture. So, after about 50 pictures, I gave up and used an incent stick instead.

Altough I am happy with the results, I have decided that I will re-shoot this one later with hot water/cofee steam instead.

This one was taken during a rare thunderstorm we had over Lebanon on the 10th of October 2008 from “Ain Saade”, a village about 600 meters above sea level. The city that you can see is Beirut, Lebanon’s capital.

“Thunderstorm over Beirut” was the first picture I ever sell online and it hit rank 35 on flick explore page.
